Truckers for Trump to boycott driving to New York City after $355M fraud ruling

In protest of the civil fraud ruling that fined former President Trump more than $350 million last week, a group of truck drivers who support him declared they would not be travelling to New York City.

All of this is in reaction to the fact that New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a civil fraud case against Trump, his family, and the Trump Organisation. That case resulted in a three-year ban from running Trump's business in the state and a judgment of more than $350 million in damages.

Following a trial that lasted for several months and was sparked by James' lawsuit, which accused the former president of deceit and asset inflation, New York Judge Arthur Engorondecided on Friday

Many pro-Trump truck drivers nationwide have, therefore, not regarded the decision lightly.

A trucker going by the handle "Chicago Rayposted on X, formerly Twitter, saying, "I'm just one of the many millions of Truckers who believe in God and love this Country." "I support Trump because he supports me." "Trump supporters are more than just a catchphrase; they exist," he wrote.

Following the ruling on February 16Chicago Ray took to X, urging other truckers to forgo accepting shipments to New York City.

"I've been on the radio talking to drivers for about the past hour, and I've talked to about 10 drivers," Ray stated. "I don't know how far across the country this is or how many truckers are going to start denying loads going to New York City, but I'll tell you what — you f--- around and find out," he stated.

Once again, the truck driver warned that Trump should be left alone and that the New York City fraud investigation against him was tantamount to "Election interference."

I appreciate you being a true patriot! Patriots like us will make a difference if we all stand up. A user left a comment on the post, saying, "We have to fight back against the ones trying to deliberately destroy our country."

"Excellent hopefully no trucker will travel to New York! Another user stated, "Our actions matter, and enough is enough."

Chicago Ray is not the only person who has opposed the civil fraud ruling and support for Trump.

The wealthy real estate investor Grant Cardone's wifeElena, created a GoFundMe page titled "Stand with Trump; Fund the $355M Unjust Judgement." "100% of funds will be forwarded to the Trump organisation for his defence of this "ridiculous judgement," her husband clarified on X.

Cardone stated, "I stand unwaveringly with President Donald Trump in the face of what I see as unprecedented and unfair treatment by certain judicial elements in New York."

"The recent legal battles he faces are not just an attack on him, but an attack on the very ideals of fairness and due process that every American deserves," he said.
