Mikel Arteta is delighted with Arsenal's attacking style, particularly in light of their setting recent goal-scoring records.

Arsenal has scored 25 goals in six Premier League matches in 2024.

Mikel Arteta asserts that there is no hidden formula to Arsenal's recent achievements as he commended his team after their win against Newcastle.

Arsenal won 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday night, bringing them within two points of the top of the Premier League.

Sven Botman's own goal initiated the scoring, followed by goals from Kai HavertzBukayo Saka, and Jakub Kiwior in a strong performance by Arteta's team. However, Joe Willock's late header prevented them from keeping a clean sheet.

Arsenal struggled in a close 1-0 loss in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 match against Porto on Wednesday. However, they have been performing exceptionally well in their domestic league.

When asked about the success in recent matches, including away wins at West Ham and BurnleyArteta stated that the team is currently in a positive phase. Players are performing individually, and this fact is not a secret.

Things are progressing smoothly. We score goals using various methods and aim to increase our goal count. After scoring one goal, we want to score two, three, or even four more. I appreciate the mindset of the team.

"We train daily in the most effective manner and prioritise self-care." Additionally, players are returning.

Having additional players available increases competition within the squad and provides more options to influence the game. We must ensure confidence in our ability to accomplish the task.

Jorginho reentered the Arsenal team for the encounter against the Magpies and delivered an outstanding performance, earning the man-of-the-match award.

The Italian midfielder has performed well in most matches this season but was simply a substitute in Portugal.

Arteta noted that he is a top player. When opponents display specific behaviours and formations, I envision the game in a way that he would make a significant influence.

Newcastle performed poorly and has conceded 23 goals in their last eight league matches.

Manager Eddie Howe admitted that the recent defensive record is a concern. 'We are working on projects that must be reflected in today's performance.' Manager said.

"It is a combination of factors. We struggled to defend corners, aware of their proficiency in those scenarios, and also conceded the third goal." "We were the superior team and would have quickly regained momentum if we had scored that goal, facing challenging defensive situations." He added.
