Former Barcelona manager Xavi claims that his replacement will "struggle" in the position.

The 44-year-old Spaniard was let go before overseeing the team's last match of the season, which ended in a 2-1 victory against Sevilla.

Hansi Flick, the former manager of Germany and Bayern Munich, is poised to take over the position.

Xavi, who had a contract until 2025, initially stated his intention to depart the club in January. However, he later reversed his decision and announced in April that he would remain at Camp Nou.

He warned the new manager, saying, "You will face challenges." This situation is quite intricate. Being successful in this role requires a great deal of perseverance and resilience.

In November 2021, the ex-Spain midfielder assumed the head coach role and achieved remarkable success in his inaugural season, securing La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.

They ended the season in second place in La Liga, trailing champions Real Madrid by 10 points.

Xavi's dismissal occurred just one month after Barcelona publicly announced his continued presence at the club. Following his remarks about the club's financial struggles, tensions reportedly arose between him and President Joan Laporta.

"I get the sense that all my actions over the past two and a half years have had a significant impact," he remarked. "I have experienced being targeted on multiple occasions in various situations."

Xavi expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of recognition for his efforts at the club and reluctantly accepted the decision to dismiss him. Regardless of my personal opinion, the validity of the arguments remains unaffected.

The former Barca player expressed his openness to exploring new career opportunities while also acknowledging the importance of taking some time to recharge.

"Coaching Barcelona is a tremendous challenge," he remarked. "It's been a challenging week, but I have a clear conscience." I am filled with pride and joy.
