In a statement on the eve of the Independence Day celebration on 26 March, US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken extended his congratulations to the people of Bangladesh on behalf of the United States of America.
In the communication accessible on the official website of the US State Department, Blinken expressed the United States' satisfaction in collaborating with Bangladesh on various urgent matters of contemporary significance. These include efforts to mitigate climate change, promote economic progress, address the Rohingya refugee crisis, assist peacekeeping operations on a global scale, and tackle global health challenges.
