A large chunk of land collapsed onto a home in the Chamelibag area of Sylhet city early Monday morning, resulting in the deaths of three members of the same family.
The relief operation began around 8 am today, and the bodies that were buried in mud were found around 1:30 pm.
His wife, Shammi Akter, 26, and their two-year-old child, Tanim, were killed. Aga Karim Uddin, 34, was also killed.
A big piece of a hill fell on a family of seven early in the morning, around 7 a.m.
Rescuers from the fire department, civil defence, police, and city council helped the people already there, and an army team also helped them.
An investigation officer at the Shahporan police station named Indranil Bhattacharjee said that the bodies of the three people who died were sent to the Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
Md. Moniruzzaman, Deputy Head of the Sylhet Fire Service, said three fire service teams joined the search and rescue mission.
People there said that heavy rains had been falling on Sylhet since the morning, and the landslip could have happened because of this.
