Sunrisers Hyderabad set the Indian Premier League's new highest team total when they scored 287-3 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in a match this season.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 25 runs. 

Sunrisers were declared winners, with Travis Head, the opener, being the standout performer. He scored the season's heist, hitting a magnificent 102 runs out of just 41 deliveries.

In just three weeks, the SRH batters have not only set a new record for the highest-ever total in IPL and cricket history, but they have also surpassed their record with yet another stunning display of power-hitting, this time at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

SRH batters scored 287 runs against a hapless Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowling attack on Monday, following their 277-run effort against Mumbai Indians on March 27. Thus, they bettered their record for the highest-ever total in IPL and franchise league history.

The effort was led by Travis Head, who destroyed a 39-ball 100 – the fourth fastest in IPL history; followed by Heinrich Klassen's brutal 31-ball 67 and handy cameos from Aiden Markram (32 off 17), Abdul Samad (37 off 10) and Abhishek Sharma (34 off 22).
