Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is vying for a second consecutive PFA Player of the Year award, having been nominated alongside his teammates Phil Foden and Rodri.

Haaland had another outstanding season, scoring an impressive 38 goals in all competitions, while City secured an unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League title.

In a remarkable feat, the Norway star emerged victorious in the prestigious PFA award, following City's triumphant campaign in 2022-23, where they clinched an impressive treble.

Rodri played a crucial role in City's midfield during their recent Premier League victory while contributing to Spain's success in Euro 2024.

Foden, the playmaker for England, scored an impressive 27 goals for Pep Guardiola's team in the previous season.

Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard, and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins are among the contenders for the prize.

The women's award is expected for either a Chelsea or City player.

Chelsea's Niamh Charles, Erin Cuthbert, and Lauren James have been shortlisted alongside Yui Hasegawa, Lauren Hemp, and Khadija Shaw.

The winners are set to be revealed at the highly anticipated PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester on August 20.
