The NDA is expected to meet President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday to formally claim the right to form the government under Narendra Modi's leadership.

The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) played a pivotal role in the government formation process. Its senior leaders held a meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday to discuss the intricacies of the process.

The NDA's resounding victory in the Lok Sabha election set the stage for the government formation process. In the wake of this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a meeting the following day to discuss the path forward for his third term.

According to a TV news channels, the National Democratic Alliance is expected to meet President Droupadi Murmu later today to claim the right to form the government under Narendra Modi's leadership.

The NDA meeting occurred at the Prime Minister's residence and was attended by Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Various individuals expressed their perspectives and gratitude to the public for granting the NDA a third term.

According to JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, the government led by Narendra Modi is set to be formed, and a meeting of all the MPs is scheduled soon.

While an official date for the oath-taking ceremony has not been announced, some alliance members speculate that it could occur over the weekend, provided that the details of the new government are promptly finalised.

Parties like the TDP and the JD(U) are anticipated to seek important portfolios, as their support will be vital for the formation and stability of the government.

The NDA has secured a comfortable majority in the 543-member Lok Sabha, surpassing the mark 272. However, the BJP, with its 240 seats, has yet to reach the magic number for the first time since 2014, making it heavily reliant on its allies.
