2 Indian police visited Dhaka to investigate the murder of MP Anwarul Azim.


A delegation of Indian police will be arriving in Dhaka on Thursday to investigate the murder of Anwarul Azim, the MP from the ruling Awami League representing Jhenaidah-4 constituency.


According to the DMP commissioner Habibur Rahman, this information has been confirmed by TGE’s chief reporter.


Their arrival in Dhaka is scheduled for approximately 2:00 pm. The authorities plan to hold discussions with pertinent officials and the family of the victim regarding the tragic incident.


According to Mahid Uddin, the Additional DMP commissioner (crime and operation), the two Indian police officials will question the three individuals arrested in Bangladesh regarding the incident.


MP Anwarul Azim, a resident of Nischintapur village in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah, reportedly travelled to West Bengal, India, on 12 May, as confirmed by police sources.


The following day, he sought medical attention but never came back. Following the incident, Gopal Biswas, a resident of the area, took action by filing a general diary (GD) with the Baranagar police station.


During the interview, he revealed that at approximately 7:00 pm local time, Anwarul arrived at his residence in the Mandalpara lane of Kolkata.


He arrived in Kolkata to undergo medical examinations.


On 18 May, Gopal Biswas took action by filing a general diary (GD) with the Baranagar police station when Anwarul failed to come back.


In a press briefing, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan announced on Wednesday that MP Anwarul had been fatally attacked in Kolkata.


According to our current information, it appears that specific individuals from Bangladesh may be involved in the killing.


Three individuals have already been apprehended in the incident.
